Summary:
The Project Director leads the sales and execution activities for land development projects in the Greater Denver region. Responsible for leading a team of project managers for the daily operations of project deliverables. The priorities for this position include business development, quality assurance, and problem resolution.
General Responsibilities:
Build relationships and grow business in land development including residential, commercial, and industrial. Lead business development activities by marketing to existing clients as well as identifying, and marketing to new clients. Support land development entitlement activities. Strategize, problem-solve, and serve as a trusted advisor to the client. Support technical efforts for business development such as the preparation of qualification statements and presentations. Review/approve scope, budgets, and schedules. Manage the project team's performance on assigned projects. Participate in quarterly Operations Meetings with Business Sector Leaders, the President, and the Business Solutions team. Actively participate in professional associations and civic organizations within the community
Required Education/Licenses:
Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited college or university Registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado
Required Experience:
15+ years’ experience in land development entitlement and engineering 3+ years of experience as a practice leader and business developer in the Colorado market. Ability to effectively communicate, both oral and written skills Seniority level
