About the role
As a crucial part of our Supply Chain & Sourcing team, you will play a critical role in identifying cost-saving opportunities across our supply chain—from raw materials to finished goods. You’ll be responsible for analyzing sourcing strategies, identifying new supplier and factory partners, and identifying assemblies suitable for in-house production. This role is predominantly external-facing and requires frequent collaboration with suppliers and factory partners around the world. This is an on-site position located in our Torrance, CA office. Some international travel is required. Responsibilities
Analyze and reduce product and component costs through better sourcing, negotiation, and process improvements Research and source raw materials globally, evaluating quality, reliability, and cost Identify parts or subassemblies suitable for in-house production and develop business cases for internalization Explore and recommend factory diversification strategies to reduce risk and improve supply chain resilience Evaluate new suppliers and factories through detailed quality and capability assessments Negotiate business terms, contracts and purchases Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Quality teams to align sourcing strategies with product development goals Travel internationally as needed to meet with suppliers, conduct audits, and develop strong vendor relationships About You
Bachelor’s degree Self-starter with curiosity, persistence, and attention to detail Analytical mindset with the ability to translate cost data into actionable strategies Possess solid ethics and a sense of right and wrong Detail-oriented with strong project management ability Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with cultural fluency and comfort working across countries Some experience in consumer products or consumer electronics a plus Some engineering or manufacturing experience a plus Native-level fluency in Mandarin Chinese a plus Culture
