Do you have the right skills and experience for this role Read on to find out, and make your application. Cardno GS now Stantec GS seeks a Sr. NEPA Project Manager to support DoD work in the Pacific. This person will play an integral part in our growing NEPA practice in Honolulu. Job Description:Direct Client Engagement: The candidate will be expected to have extensive direct client engagement, both in executing NEPA project work and developing new work with existing and future clients. Demonstrated NEPA experience with DoD clients and a strong local network within the federal engineering, planning, and environmental community are necessary to expand and diversify Stantec’s current federal portfolio. Experience managing complex DoD NEPA projects within the Pacific region is required. The role involves developing strategy and executing local business development efforts for growth, contributing to the success of Stantec Government Services Division. Business Development: In coordination with Stantec client and practice area leaders, the candidate will plan and support local marketing activities, assist in developing and executing federal, state, and local-level business development plans, develop relationships with local business partners, and help cultivate a sustainable and growing backlog. Minimum Qualifications:

BS/BA Degree; Master’s Degree in relevant fields preferred (Environmental Studies, Biology, Wildlife Biology, Engineering, Community/Urban Planning, or similar). >10+ years’ experience in the federal sector as a NEPA “seller-doer”. Professional registration/certification (PE, AICP, PMP, RA, etc.) is preferred but not necessary. Demonstrated experience conducting business within the Pacific region. Strong relationships with federal clients are required. Contacts with local state, city/county, education, or industrial entities in Hawaii/Pacific are desirable. Proven track record as a high performer who can self-motivate to get results. Ability to exercise professional discretion and judgment. Experience in management/leadership positions and training/mentoring staff. Commitment to Cardno Values (Safety, Integrity, People, Excellence).
