Operations Research Analyst (Journeyman)
to support our projects with the Marine Corps Installation Command (MCICOM), focusing on installation modernization and capability enhancement. This role involves identifying, assessing, and integrating emerging technologies and organizational changes to improve Marine Corps installations. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct outreach and coordinate with MCICOM directorates, HQMC, Marine Forces Commands, DON organizations, research entities, private industry, and academia. Identify new capabilities and developments in the open market, Marine Corps Warfighting Lab, and Marine Corps Systems Command to enhance installations. Support branding, publication development, and graphic design efforts to communicate modernization initiatives. Assist in developing guidance and policies for transitioning new capabilities into Marine Corps installations. Provide conference and meeting support, including planning, on-site coordination, and reporting. Review policies and propose updates for installation modernization programs. Develop and refine briefings, documents, and staff packages for modernization initiatives. Draft and refine plans, orders, and instructions for modernization projects. Develop tools for processing, analyzing, and tracking modernization efforts. Required and Desired Skills:
Four to ten years of supporting similar tasks, with at least a bachelor’s degree. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience with military-based programs. Secret Clearance is required. Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits. Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, education, and organizational needs.
