About the position As the Project Manager, Digital Transformation, you will play a critical role in advancing Bridgespan’s technology roadmap by coordinating high-impact, cross-functional projects that improve internal operations and enable our teams to better serve clients and partners. Reporting to the Associate Director, Scrum and Project Management, this individual will bringproject management expertise and a servant leadership mindset. You will serve as the central point of coordination across technical transformation projects, including enterprise application implementations such as ERP and CRM, . This highly collaborative role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across teams and functions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and bring a proactive, agile approach to managing change, enabling the organization to scale its impact through thoughtful and effective use of technology. Key Responsibilities ● Project Leadership:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact, complex projects that drive transformation across the organization. This includes creating and maintaining detailed project plans and holding team members accountable to tasks and timelines. ● Stakeholder Management:
partner with the Product team to support senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners by fostering alignment on project goals, timelines, and responsibilities. Embrace a servant leadership mindset by prioritizing the needs of stakeholders, actively listening, removing roadblocks, and creating an environment of trust and collaboration. ● Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with projects, ensuring they are resolved to keep the project on schedule. ● Resource Management:
Efficiently manage budget and team member allocations to support project timelines and deliverables. ● Project Communication:
Serve as the communication bridge between project teams and executive leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment on project status and outcomes by establishing standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation. ● Project Governance:
Establish governance frameworks for project execution, including oversight, decision-making roles and processes, and accountability. ● Change Management:
Work with the Product team to drive change management initiatives and ensure smooth transition and adoption of new processes and systems. ● Continuous Improvement:
Embed a culture of continuous improvement within project teams, using insights from each project or phase to refine future approaches. ● Agility in Execution:
Adapt project management approaches to suit the dynamic nature of transformation projects, balancing speed with quality and thoroughness. ● Reporting and Analysis:
Provide regular, data-driven reports on project progress, challenges, and successes to stakeholders at all levels. ● Vendor Management:
Review and approve the work plan of an external service provider or consultancy contracted to execute the project. Set expectations and working norms between teams to maintain visibility and accountability throughout the project. Ensure adherence to scope, budget and deliverables. Qualifications ·5+ years of experience in project management with a focus on digital transformation, enterprise systems, or technology change. ·2+ years of experience working with vendors, managing deliverables and budget as outlined in Statements of Work ·Proven ability to lead and deliver complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders. ·Deep understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid); PMP certification is desired. ·Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build trust and consensus across diverse teams. ·Experience with project management tools including Jira and Confluence. ·Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, & inclusion, and continuous learning. ·Ability to travel up to 10-15% Preferred Qualifications ·1+ years of experience in project management with an ERP, such as Workday ·Previous experience working with teams to implement applications using out-of-the-box functionality. ·Previous experience or knowledge of helpdesk operations; ITIL/ITSM ·Experience in consulting or professional services. ·Prior experience implementing digital transformation initiatives in a mission-driven organization.
