About the Role The Website Strategy Specialist is a key member of the marketing team, responsible for driving search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to enhance visibility and performance across paid and organic search channels. This role also involves overseeing website strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, and leveraging basic development skills to support web optimization. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the specialist will optimize all websites within the channels we serve, proactively analyze market trends, deliver actionable insights, and collaborate with the shared services digital team to create and optimize web pages for maximum search traffic and user engagement. Responsibilities Drive SEM and SEO strategies to enhance visibility and performance. Oversee website strategy and ensure alignment with business goals. Leverage basic development skills to support web optimization. Optimize all websites within the channels served. Proactively analyze market trends and deliver actionable insights. Collaborate with the shared services digital team to create and optimize web pages. Qualifications Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience:

3-5 years of hands-on experience in SEM and SEO, with expertise in paid search (e.g., Google Ads) and website optimization. Experience managing campaigns across multiple websites or channels is highly desirable. Industry Knowledge:

Familiarity with the channels we serve is a plus but not required. Required Skills SEM & SEO Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of paid search and SEO strategies, including keyword research, bid management, on-page and off-page optimization, and link-building techniques. Tool Proficiency:

Skilled in using tools like Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Similarweb, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms to monitor, analyze, and optimize search and website performance. Analytical Skills:

Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve search rankings, traffic, conversions, and user experience. Collaboration:

Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with the shared services digital team, ensuring new web pages are search-friendly, user-focused, and technically sound. Communication:

Clear and concise communication skills to present strategies, performance reports, and recommendations to the Digital Marketing Manager, outside agencies and stakeholders. Project Management:

Capable of managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment. Preferred Skills Campaign Management:

Proven success in managing SEM campaigns, including paid search (PPC) and SEO efforts, that have improved search rankings, increased traffic, and driven conversions. Website Optimization and Development:

Hands-on experience optimizing websites for search and user experience, including conducting audits, implementing technical SEO improvements, refining content, and making basic code updates to enhance functionality. Collaboration with Digital Teams:

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with digital or web development teams to create and optimize web pages, ensuring alignment with SEM objectives and technical best practices. Market Analysis:

Experience analyzing market trends, competitor strategies, and search behavior to refine SEM and website strategies and provide actionable feedback. Performance Reporting:

Proficient in creating detailed performance reports tracking key metrics like click-through rates (CTR), cost-per-click (CPC), conversion rates, organic search rankings, and website performance indicators (e.g., page load speed, bounce rate). Pay range and compensation package Compensation:
