immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Position Overview:

The Global Process Owner (“GPO”) for Time and Attendance is responsible for overseeing and optimizing time management policies and processes across multiple regions and departments on a global scale. This leadership role ensures that processes are standardized, efficient, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. The GPO will drive continuous improvement initiatives, implement best practices, and maintain compliance with international regulations. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage the end-to-end process, implement technology solutions, and ensure consistent quality and performance across all regions. The GPO plays a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and improving the overall business process experience for both internal stakeholders and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Improvement and Management

Initiates process and system changes and enhancements; works with the operations teams and other cross-functional business partners to prioritize process and system improvement initiatives impacting the global time and attendance process, including planning, and managing the overall project roadmap.

Drive improvements and establish best-in-class processes for global time and attendance and related programs which meet jurisdictional compliance requirements, deliver outstanding employee experience, and enable our global expansion programs.

Draft the current “as-is” and “to-be” business process, business requirements, and use cases in the business case requirements document; sign off on the final business case; approve cross-functional business requirements that impact the global time and attendance process.

Stakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within Finance, HR, and other related business units, continuously optimizing service delivery and leadership models.

Prior to deploying new processes and significant system enhancements, confirm business readiness of the global time and attendance operations team; communicate process and system changes to the extended user community as needed.

Partner with HRIT, Benefits, Finance, and other related organizations to ensure that the end-to-end time and attendance input and output processes are optimized.

Communicate priorities, partner requirements, and steps in operationalizing the global time and attendance transformation roadmap, ensuring organizational alignment.

Payroll Transformation Projects

Develop policies and strategies for global time and attendance that enable centralized and simplified processes.

Partner with HR Ops to define and govern time and attendance policies.

Collaborate with IT, Finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless system implementation and functionality of new systems.

Develop a global time and attendance improvement roadmap with prioritization and impact assessment.

Establish frameworks and processes to sustain outcomes post-launch, collaborating cross-functionally to enable ownership and execution.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

10+ years of experience in payroll operations within a global organization

Experience with SAP, Workday, ADP payroll platforms, or other payroll systems

Expertise in global payroll processes and understanding of business operations and internal controls; ability to assess impacts of process/system changes

Ability to collaborate and operate autonomously, making decisions in complex situations

Strong understanding of payroll, time and attendance, and employee data management processes

Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder influence

Base Salary: $121,900 - $219,410

Salary will be determined based on location, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. This role is eligible for McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan. Employees are also eligible for our Total Rewards programs, including health benefits, family-friendly benefits, and retirement plans.
