onsite role
with one of the region’s premier energy and utility clients. As Project Director, you will oversee all phases of the civil construction lifecycle—managing schedules, budgets, contracts, equipment, and personnel—while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. Richmond, VA . Key Responsibilities Include: Oversee planning, staffing, and execution of all project phases
Lead teams on site including project managers, engineers, safety, quality, and superintendents
Manage client communications, financial reporting, contracts, and risk
Coordinate field operations, equipment scheduling, and material logistics
Enforce safety standards and environmental regulations
Monitor and report on project progress and performance
Represent the company at meetings with clients, vendors, and contractors
Mentor and lead project teams to promote a collaborative and results-oriented environment
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Minimum 10 years
of project leadership experience in heavy civil construction
Proven expertise in
Coal Ash / CCR Remediation
required
Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, erosion control, grading, and utility infrastructure
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific tools (Hard Dollar, Bid Build, Primavera, MS Project)
Skilled in project scheduling, cost management, and change order processes
Ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, and safety guidelines
This is an
onsite field role
with exposure to varying weather and jobsite conditions
Travel as needed to support jobsite operations
