Overview The Director of Residential Services oversees all Community Living Arrangements (CLA) and Continuous Residential Support (CRS). Responsibilities include supporting managers with clinical coordination, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations (DDS, DSS, DCF, etc.), and developing person-centered programs. The role involves supervising and training staff. Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight for CLA, CRS, and day service programs. Monitor clinical services to meet residents' needs. Assist managers with clinical recommendations and staff training. Organize educational groups for residents. Collaborate with DCF, DDS, schools, and other providers. Offer crisis intervention and clinical support. Manage resident intake and discharge processes. Maintain confidentiality of records and communications. Conduct QSR reviews to ensure licensing and policy compliance. Participate in on-call rotation as needed. Expectations

Exhibit a positive work ethic and professionalism. Work independently and advocate for participants’ rights. Support individuals respectfully and promote their choices. Maintain positive relationships with participants, families, and providers. Attend meetings and training sessions regularly. Ensure timely response to participant and family needs. Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least 3 years’ experience in human services, with 2 years supervisory experience. Experience with licensing regulations and developmental disabilities preferred. Valid driver’s license and insurance required. Training and Physical Requirements

Participate in DDS and agency training. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and participate in physical interventions if needed.
