The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role. Position Summary: MannKind Corporation is seeking a high-performing District Business Manager (DBM). The DBM will be responsible for the strategic development and performance management of a region, with the goal of overdelivering and exceeding sales targets. The role involves leading, directing, and managing the activities of sales representatives within a geographic area, driving accountability to achieve revenue and profit growth, managing expenses responsibly, and participating in strategic meetings at various levels. The candidate can be located in the Mid-Atlantic area. Principal Responsibilities: Build and lead high-performing sales teams that consistently exceed sales goals. Lead a team of Sales Representatives to promote products to targeted physicians and accounts to achieve or surpass sales objectives. Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to enhance team performance. Recruit, develop, and retain top talent committed to delivering results. Develop and implement plans aligned with corporate strategy at the district level, including measurable KPIs. Collaborate with leadership to establish performance behaviors and actions that accelerate sales in the region. Engage with key customers through growth strategies supporting product expansion. Participate in commercial planning sessions, representing field insights and ensuring compliance with guidelines. Adhere to all company, health, safety, and environmental policies. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. Education and Experience Qualifications: BA/BS with 7-10 years of experience or MS/MBA with 5-7 years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience. At least 3 years of district management experience in pharmaceutical sales. Proven track record of meeting quotas and growing territories. Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to leverage data for strategic decisions. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
