Overview Audacy is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and outgoing professional to join our Sales/Programming team as the

Manager of Events and Experiences

for our Houston Cluster, with specific experience in developing and executing lifestyle, heritage, and sports events. Experience in event development/production, sponsorship sales, and client-facing presentations is required.

Responsibilities

Manage inbound sales events and experiences requests in collaboration with the Local & National Sales team.

Oversee on-site execution for all stations in the market and region when necessary.

Partner with Programming to develop and manage sponsorship opportunities for campaigns.

Coordinate with the Regional Contesting team regarding upcoming contests.

Develop consumer events and experiences that can be scaled and sponsored in Houston.

Communicate event details with talent and drive retail activations.

Create and communicate weekly and annual calendars of events and promotions.

Hire, train, and manage part-time street team members.

Collaborate on marketing, sales promotion, and third-party opportunities for client concepts and station branding.

Proficient in promotion management software such as SPARC, Audience, Vibes, etc.

Attend sales and programming meetings.

Participate in general marketing, promotions, and special projects as needed.

Assist with station brand development.

Brainstorm event and promotional concepts with programming and sales teams.

Ensure station branding is reflected across all marketing and digital media.

Collaborate on promotion ideation for clients and station initiatives.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Excellent organizational skills.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Self-motivated with ability to work independently and multitask.

Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Knowledge of promotion software (Vibes, Audience, SPARC).

Occasional night or weekend work.

Experience in cross-genre formats preferred.

Experience with Google Workspaces is a plus.

Understanding of social networking platforms.

At least two years of marketing and promotions campaign experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred, or equivalent experience.

Valid driver’s license, clean motor vehicle record, and proof of insurance if owning a vehicle.
