Job Purpose The Sr. Director of Manufacturing Operations - West is responsible for the overall leadership and management of fairlife's factories in Goodyear, AZ, and Dexter, NM. This role will be fully accountable for safety, environmental, quality, production, efficiency, service levels, and people objectives for the sites. Additionally, this role will provide inspiration, direction, coaching, and feedback to the plant leadership teams, which are responsible for meeting the business plan and strategic objectives, while strengthening the fairlife culture of Believe in Better and fostering a culture of measurement-driven continuous improvement, technical training, and operational excellence. Responsibilities

Develop strategic initiatives, projects, plant processes, and management systems to improve safety, quality assurance, productivity, cost savings, environmental stewardship, and customer service. Drive key strategic initiatives for all processing and bottling plants in the fairlife network. Support co-packing relationships and agreements, ensuring expectations are met regarding safety, quality, productivity, and cost. Lead operational excellence initiatives such as Continuous Improvement, Technical Training, Capital Management, and Equipment Reliability, partnering with functional leaders. Ensure adherence to health and safety policies, GMP policies, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to align production plans with plant capacities and capabilities, refining near-term plans to maximize productivity, quality, and customer service. Support development of operational and capital budgets, organizational structures, policies, and procedures. Establish communication routines with operations leaders regarding business status, goals, performance, policies, and operational excellence initiatives. Provide technical support to engineers, technicians, and operators for dairy science, mechanical, process, and troubleshooting issues. Foster a collaborative environment of ownership and engagement across departments. Support strategies to sustainably grow plant capacity, optimize the supply chain, and reduce manufacturing risks. Represent fairlife's manufacturing facilities, embodying the company's values and culture with stakeholders. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field. At least 10 years of plant leadership or equivalent experience. Dairy, brewing, pharmaceutical, or food experience; aseptic processing experience is a plus. Proven ability to mitigate food safety risks, especially with temperature-sensitive raw materials like milk. Experience implementing LEAN principles for value creation. Strong leadership skills, integrity, and ability to achieve goals through team management. Ability to re-engineer operations, develop policies, and implement strategies. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for diverse stakeholders. Ability to handle sensitive issues and manage performance. Proficiency with IT systems such as ERP, MRP, MES, SCADA, and analytics. Knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and standards. Understanding of budgeting, cost estimation, and fiscal management. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. fairlife, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
