Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic scientist able to work collaboratively with research teams across scientific disciplines in a fast-paced research environment. The successful candidate will primarily support lipid nanoparticle research needs on campus. Key responsibilities include providing expertise on the design and implementation of lipid nanoparticle formulation experiments, collaborating with faculty to develop formulations and protocols tailored to each specific project, and training novice users in formulation techniques including data collection and analysis. The director will also train and mentor junior laboratory staff and students, and contribute to scientific manuscripts and grant proposals. Job Description
Responsibilities include: Providing expertise on lipid nanoparticle formulation, design, and characterization Collaborating with faculty on project-specific formulations and protocols Training users in formulation techniques and data analysis Mentoring junior staff and students Contributing to scientific publications and grant writing Qualifications
PhD in Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or related field At least three years of lipid nanoparticle research experience Experience with LNP design, formulation, and characterization techniques Proven publication record in peer-reviewed journals Knowledge of chemistry, colloid/soft matter, and analytical techniques Experience with equipment such as dynamic light scattering, size exclusion chromatography, and microscopy Ability to work independently and in team settings Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication skills Additional Information
