Location: Sunnyvale, CA In this role, you will provide strategic leadership for Natcast's workforce development initiatives, driving excellence in program management while assisting in leading a high-performing team to strengthen the nation’s ecosystem for developing semiconductor talent. Your daily responsibilities include designing processes, managing workstreams, improving services, and building collaborations with senior leadership at the NSTC Workforce Center of Excellence to advance Natcast's mission of developing world-class semiconductor talent in the United States. To succeed, you must translate strategic vision into detailed implementation plans, design workforce initiatives, monitor program performance, manage projects to deadlines, and guide teams toward workforce development goals. Natcast stands at the forefront of America's semiconductor renaissance as the operator of the NSTC. Through the NSTC, established under the CHIPS and Science Act, Natcast unites industry, academia, nonprofits, and government partners to foster semiconductor innovation and develop a skilled workforce to maintain U.S. leadership in this critical sector. The Assistant Director of Workforce Services is a key strategic leader within Natcast's workforce development efforts. This role combines program management and relationship building, requiring attention to detail and a strong understanding of workforce development. You will act as a deputy to the Director of Workforce Services, providing leadership, continuity, and oversight to shape the future of the U.S. semiconductor workforce. Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong oral and written communication skills Stakeholder relationship management expertise 8+ years of program or project management experience 5+ years in workforce development or related fields 3+ years managing multiple complex programs Experience with program evaluation, performance monitoring, and optimization Ability to translate strategic visions into detailed work plans Strong analytical and decision-making skills Team management and mentoring experience Willingness to travel domestically Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience building and managing new teams Semiconductor industry background Experience with federal or state workforce programs Knowledge of educational program development Background in technical training or education Experience with public-private partnerships Track record of developing strategic initiatives Budget management experience Ready to help shape the future of America's semiconductor workforce?
