The Data & Analytics (D&A) team partners with business stakeholders across the enterprise to leverage data & analytics for delivering insights and solutions that accelerate business outcomes. Reporting to the Senior Director of Care Delivery Analytics, the Senior Manager of Value Based Payments & Cost Transparency Analytics collaborates with Finance, Actuary, Health Solutions, Product Management, and other departments to serve as the Data & Analytics partner in achieving business objectives. This team works closely with analytical and business units to provide insights that drive the business forward. The role requires strong analytical skills and a broad understanding of business dynamics and key levers. Acting as a "two-in-a-box" partner with stakeholders is essential. Responsibilities include setting strategic direction, managing multiple deadlines, and leading change management initiatives.
The Senior Manager must excel at translating business problems into analytical approaches, leading analytics teams, and integrating expertise from data engineering, visualization, predictive modeling, and data governance as needed. Leading a team of analysts, the role demands an in-depth understanding of how information is used and how analytics support critical business functions. Our leadership model emphasizes developing leaders at all levels and providing opportunities for personal, professional, and financial growth. Your Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in data/analytics; healthcare payment models experience is a plus. 4+ years of people management experience. Strategic mindset with the ability to be hands-on; familiarity with SQL, Python, SAS, Tableau, etc., is helpful. Understanding of the payor-provider landscape and awareness of industry trends and innovations in payment approaches. Proven experience in translating business problems into analytical solutions, driving implementation, and measuring outcomes. Experience partnering with stakeholders to achieve business results through analytics. Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of operating from analyst to executive levels. Experience in building, engaging, and retaining high-performing teams. Attention to detail and pride in end products. Resilient and energized by challenges. Passionate about using data & analytics to improve people's lives.
