Director of Corporate Operations

The Director of Corporate Operations will serve as the strategic right hand to the VP of Operations, playing a critical role in building and shaping the foundation of our corporate operations. This high-impact position is responsible for turning strategy into action, driving execution, establishing operational workflows, and ensuring clear and consistent communication across the organization. You’ll help architect operational processes, streamline workflows, lead high-impact projects, and drive continuous improvement all while fostering collaboration and alignment across teams. This is a high-visibility role ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking, operational rigor, and strong interpersonal skills. Partner closely with VP of Operations to operationalize decisions and drive company-wide execution Lead, manage, and deliver strategic projects and programs from end to end, on time and on budget Build and maintain systems, workflows, and operational infrastructure to support growth Define and clearly communicate project roadmaps with measurable improvements tied to key business objectives Collaborate with field operations to gather input, align timelines, and coordinate implementation Align stakeholders and ensure accountability through effective project tracking and communication Serve as a key liaison across departments to keep initiatives aligned, on track, and well-coordinated Ensure communication between leadership and the broader organization is timely, clear, and consistent Develop and maintain internal tools and reporting dashboards to increase visibility and transparency Maintain and update operational tools like Scribble Maps, Smartsheet’s, and Excel org charts Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and team efficiency Assist with documentation of products, systems, and workflows to support adoption and business continuity Help drive execution across multiple business areas, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term goals Support operational planning, resource alignment, and performance tracking What you’ll bring to the team: 7+ years of experience in operations, project management, or communications, Experience working closely with senior leadership Proven ability to manage complex initiatives from start to finish Strong business acumen and operational instincts Comfortable in a startup or high-growth environment Proficiency in Smartsheet, Excel, and communication tools Core Competencies: Project Management Adaptability and critical thinking Communication and emotional intelligence Strong organizational and time-management abilities Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and light lifting (up to 15 lbs) for event or team meeting support. Ability to participate in onsite meetings, employee engagements, and field visits, which may involve walking job sites or standing for extended periods. Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to support acquisitions, new store openings, etc. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
