We are looking to hire an ambitious business-facing Senior Compliance Officer, who will serve as the Head of Compliance for the US Wealth Solutions business within Macquarie Asset Management in New York. This advisory role reports to the Americas Regional Head of Macquarie Asset Management Compliance. The focus will be on providing compliance support to various registered and private alternatives to wealth (A2W) strategies across infrastructure, renewables, energy transition, and private credit.

What role will you play?

You will be a member of a dedicated business compliance team aligned with Macquarie Asset Management, part of the wider Risk Management Group (RMG). Your proven relationship and stakeholder management skills will be essential to advise US-based businesses and oversee Macquarie Group's compliance requirements. Collaboration with global teams and extensive experience in the wealth client segment, including expertise on the Investment Advisers Act and Investment Company Act of 1940, are required, along with a positive mindset and high achievement drive.

What you offer

You will manage the US compliance program for an SEC-registered investment adviser managing A2W strategies, in conjunction with the Americas Regional Head of MAM Business Compliance. Your responsibilities include providing compliance advice across the US, managing responses to regulatory correspondence, reviewing and approving transactions, funds, and products, and collaborating on compliance reviews of marketing materials and fund documents. Active participation in Investor Due Diligence meetings is expected. A minimum of 10+ years of compliance experience within asset management, especially A2W compliance, preferably in private equity, infrastructure, or multi-asset management, is required.

Our Risk Management Group functions as an independent, centralized unit responsible for review, oversight, monitoring, and reporting related to Macquarie's material risks. We are a global team dedicated to managing current risks and anticipating future ones, including compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk, prudential, and central divisions.
