In the role of Resident Project Representative II, we'll count on you to: Lead CMAR team as Owners Advisor Oversee, manage and coordinate construction activities of general contractors and/or subcontractors with plant operations Provide construction management leadership for wastewater plant process projects Communicate and document all changes in scope to the project manager, especially any that impact cost, quality, schedule and safety Perform complex construction assignments exercising judgement in evaluation, selection and modification of standard construction engineering techniques and procedures Provide input for updating project schedules, pay requests, progress reports and cost/budget reports Conduct and manage project field coordination, documentation, cost monitoring, bidding and scheduling Receive, issue and trace RFIs, submittals and other required data Perform other duties including on-site safety inspections, document control, verifying project schedules and monitoring daily logs and status reports as needed Mentor field staff and assist team as needed Lead CMAR team as Owners Advisor Oversee, manage and coordinate construction activities of general contractors and/or subcontractors with plant operations Provide construction management leadership for wastewater plant process projects Communicate and document all changes in scope to the project manager, especially any that impact cost, quality, schedule and safety Perform complex construction assignments exercising judgement in evaluation, selection and modification of standard construction engineering techniques and procedures Provide input for updating project schedules, pay requests, progress reports and cost/budget reports Conduct and manage project field coordination, documentation, cost monitoring, bidding and scheduling Receive, issue and trace RFIs, submittals and other required data Perform other duties including on-site safety inspections, document control, verifying project schedules and monitoring daily logs and status reports as needed Be liaison between design engineer, client and construction staff Mentor field staff and assist team as needed This position is subject to a governmental background check and preemployment drug test.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field 15+ years related experience including CMAR or PBD experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team A collaborative team attitude driven to remove obstacles from team progress Preference given to local candidates *LI-MJ1 Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or combination of education and relevant experience A minimum of 5 years progressive construction experience on multidisciplinary projects Must have a fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction Must possess the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents Must be able to work in a team environment Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction packages Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
