135 Bremen Street Position Summary:
The Transportation Associate provides transportation services to the Neighborhood PACE Day Health program, serving the frail elderly, and courier services between NeighborHealth locations and PACE sites. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Offers emotional and physical support to frail elderly patients and families. Transports participants to/from their homes to/from the PACE Center or appointments (via stair chair, wheelchair, or walking assistance). Properly secures participants, equipment, and other items in the van prior to operating the vehicle. Operates vehicle(s) in accordance with NeighborHealth transportation requirements. Maintains vehicles and equipment to meet transportation standards. Uses and understands adjunct equipment used in the job. Follows procedures for loading and unloading participants using lifts or stairs. Collaborates with the intake and assessment team for evaluation of participants. Follows Infection Control procedures. Provides courier services between NeighborHealth locations and PACE sites. Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications and Requirements: Current MA driver’s license Safe driving record for three years, with a True and Attested Driving Record from the Mass Department of Transportation Department of Transportation Medical Certification Driver Fitness Examination Hourly Rate:
$21.00 - non negotiable. Sign-On Bonus:
