Senior Expansion Manager , you're a crucial player in launching and expanding CookUnity operations and ensuring the success from Day 1. You will gain exposure to all critical components of our development lifecycle, including business strategy, real estate markets, production design, construction, entrepreneurship, culinary operations, technology, business development, and capital management. You will work with cross-functional leaders internally and with partners externally to deliver world-class and state-of-the-art infrastructure, frameworks, and strategic thinking to everything we do. This is an exciting position that allows you to build and improve our business model across iconic culinary cities in the US and internationally, in doing so, furthering our mission globally. Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution:

Contribute to strategic decision-making via modeling and analysis, rigorous project planning, and the entrepreneurial approach required to launch in new markets and expand existing ones. Codify and refine the tools of our GTM expansion playbook. Partner with our finance team to manage our CapEx budget and ensure accurate and streamlined reporting Support strategic pilots to help expand our footprint beyond our core offering.

Expansion Program Management

Execute and manage new facility launches—from kickoff to day 1 of operations. Manage timelines, tasks, vendors, and budgets for all expansion projects both short and long term to ensure on time and on budget completion. Uphold our team's OKRs progress to high standards by managing, updating and evaluating progress on our critical objectives and key results for the year

Market Expansion & Operations Support:

Improve our GTM project management tools and frameworks to enable faster and more efficient launches. Uphold the highest standards by managing compliance and diligence efforts with regulating entities

Data Analysis & Business Modeling:

Interpret and leverage large sets of proprietary data to generate insights and inform business recommendations. Support growth efforts by analyzing market development cycles, refining occupancy and capital deployment models, and creating production capacity, spacial allocation, and other critical infrastructure planning analysis frameworks.

Assess areas for operational improvement via Capital Investment projects. Oversee vendor bid management and support negotiations for Capital projects. Develop and implement standard operating procedures for our RFP to BID workflow. Ensure smooth handoff and rollout of market-specific process improvements. Aid in discovering cost optimization recommendations and implementing them. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Lead Cross-functional collaboration (CX, product, Chef Ops, Supply Chain) to improve the eater experience and the chef experience while delivering operational improvements via technology and automation project implementation support. Serve as a trusted strategic partner for cross-functional initiatives by partnering with internal stakeholders to drive process improvements that support scalability and efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience of 3-5 years in Management or Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity. A data-driven thinker with a Bachelor's Degree (preferred fields: Hospitality, Business Administration, Economics, Real Estate Development, Industrial Engineering. Highly effective at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Meticulous, detail-oriented, and vigilant in execution. Rigorous in analysis and ruthless in prioritization - Slow thinking, Fast Acting. A problem solver who challenges the status quo and seeks creative solutions. An excellent communicator with the ability to adapt tone to different stakeholders. Energetic and resourceful, comfortable with a project-based role across multiple geos. Master proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, familiar with BI & E-Commerce tools like Tableau Ability to quickly learn and master new tools and online platforms/software. Deep interest in AI for real-world applications. A strong executor who balances structure with flexibility. Passionate about CookUnity’s mission and eager to reshape the way people eat.
