Dallas, TX Your role The Fund Compliance Sr Director will be a key part of Digital Realty’s global Legal Risk Sustainability Compliance (LRSC) Team. This role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing the regulatory compliance framework for Digital Realty’s real estate investment funds. The Sr Director will ensure adherence to laws and regulations related to fund management, including securities laws, sanctions laws, AML regulations, investor protection standards, and data privacy laws. They will provide strategic oversight of compliance programs, manage regulatory requirements, support audits, reporting, and risk mitigation, and ensure quality assurance processes are effectively managed to proactively identify regulatory risks. What You’ll DoRegulatory Compliance and Oversight

Develop, implement, and maintain compliance frameworks for real estate investment funds, ensuring adherence to U.S. securities laws, AIFMD, and other global regulations. Monitor regulatory developments, assess impacts, and update policies and procedures accordingly. Manage AML/KYC policies, including compliance with the USA PATRIOT Act, Bank Secrecy Act, FATF, anti-bribery laws, and OFAC sanctions. Stay updated on regulatory and industry developments relevant to SEC and registered investment advisers, collaborating with legal and business partners. Manage political contributions policies and procedures. Stakeholder Management and Built-In Compliance

Establish and maintain relationships with business partners, providing guidance on compliance matters. Oversee integration of compliance controls into back-office operations, ensuring data protection and privacy standards. Research and escalate compliance concerns, assisting in remediation. Collaborate on enterprise-wide compliance projects, including investor questionnaires. Support team processes, reviews, and reporting to governance bodies. Test and monitor effectiveness of controls and develop training initiatives. Ensure compliance of marketing and communication materials. What You’ll Need

5+ years of compliance experience at a registered investment adviser, law firm, or investment consulting firm. Experience practicing law regarding registered investment companies is preferred. Bachelor's degree and J.D. required; advanced degrees such as M.A., M.S., MBA are preferred. Experience reviewing compliance certifications, agreements, and regulatory documents to identify gaps and opportunities. High knowledge of SEC and state securities regulations, including research and interpretation skills. Knowledge of investment products and securities.
