Jennifer Behr is seeking an energetic and experienced in-house full-time Senior Production Manager.

Must be comfortable managing a high-volume in-house atelier and multiple external manufacturing partners. Must have experience sourcing specialized factories, techniques, and materials. Prior jewelry experience is a must. Additional accessories experience is a plus. This is an in-person role. Candidate must be available to work at our studio location full-time and manage our domestic and international luxury production program for both ecommerce and wholesale partners. We have a small in-house atelier and produce our jewelry and accessories with domestic and international manufacturers and are looking for a candidate that is skilled at managing all aspects of production. We are also looking for someone to bring strong sourcing skills and relationships to our jewelry production. The individual in this role will be solely responsible for ensuring the success of the internal and external production programs, while maintaining the utmost quality of our luxury product across all categories. This position will report directly to the CEO. This role will be responsible for onboarding new production partners in order to help expand the evolving scope of the brand. The individual in this role will also be responsible for managing a Production Assistant and the product development process in conjunction with the in-house design team and must be an entrepreneurial, easily adaptable team player. As production is ever evolving and innovating, we are seeking a team player and problem solver able to anticipate and intuit strategic responses to any issues or new challenges that arise. Key Essential Functions Include: Manage full in house production program and monitor PO progress, while ensuring all target in house and wholesale delivery dates are met and/or exceeded Oversee internal production processes and coordinate with team: managing Production Assistant, liaise with Director of Ecommerce and Director of Wholesale in order to manage both core and seasonal business lines, while hitting distinct delivery targets per category. Establish and track total team progress against strict seasonal development, sales, and production calendar in order to keep company on correct wholesale, e-commerce, and production schedule Report weekly to total team regarding calendar and collection progress schedule for current production season delivery and future season development Prioritize production POs by immediate and future need to ensure full stock status for all in demand and bestselling items, while simultaneously coordinating on-time delivery of future season production. Advise e-commerce and sales teams on delivery dates for all anticipated and pending orders on a weekly cadence Manage and oversee ordering processes of all materials for inhouse and monitor supply stock to ensure core components are always available Spearhead all season sourcing, counter sourcing, and costing across company categories including jewelry and hair accessories. Responsible for costing full season sampling selection for wholesale and retail Continual sourcing of new materials, vendors and techniques in order to ensure top quality and expediency for product development and production Work with design team to source and initiate relationships with new manufacturing partners in line with company aesthetic and production needs Manage creation and team organization of all season assets including product photography, linesheets, product upload data, etc. Collaborate with design team on new season development - coordinating and tracking progress of internal and external SKU and material development Track collaboration timelines and deliverables across all departments. Manage and spearhead development of collaborations and external development opportunities with design team Oversee design team during seasonal development phases in order to advise best possible manufacturing practice to achieve ultimate target margin and quality for production Responsible for overseeing the creation and maintenance of comprehensive company library of all BOMs, TOPs, Spec Sheets, Product Pages, Costing Sheets, etc. Oversee quality assurance process and institute system to ensure utmost quality of product at warehouse shipping level Requirements: Excellent Excel, Adobe, email communication, calendar, and general computer skills. Familiarity with Salesforce is a bonus, but not required. Extremely computer savvy and easily adaptable to new software structures and systems Sense of urgency is key, while working with extreme accuracy and attention to detail Minimum 5 years work experience in jewelry production or product development. Strong follow-up skills and ability to maintain organized time & action calendar Have a finely tuned sense of quality and understanding of a luxury production standard Must be extremely organized and detail oriented Must be able to manage a fast paced, rolling production schedule and be adaptable to quick change and tight timelines Medical, Dental, Vision and Life insurance offered + company 401k plan
