The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in workplace and commercial interiors.
The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for design, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects from conception through completion. Primary Responsibilities
Lead and manage interior design projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, goals, and project requirements, providing expert guidance and innovative solutions. Oversee all phases of project development, including conceptual design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. Collaborate with the Principal in Charge (PIC) to identify and secure opportunities for the Practice area, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives. Coordinate and manage project teams, including architects, designers, consultants, and contractors, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment. Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, zoning laws, and regulations. Prepare and present project proposals, budgets, and schedules to clients and stakeholders. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track. Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and securing repeat business. Travel to project sites across the United States as required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on workplace and commercial interiors. Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion. Strong understanding of design principles, construction processes, and building codes. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in design and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Project). Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Passion for and fundamental understanding of sustainable design. CPHD, LEED and/or WELL accreditations, progress toward licensure (NCIDQ) are pluses.

Salary Range: $100k to $110k
