Description
Join our dedicated team and make a difference in the lives of children in our before and after school programs! The School Age Child Care Site Supervisor is responsible for leading day-to-day operations at one of our licensed sites for children in grades K-6. This includes overseeing curriculum implementation, ensuring program compliance, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, and providing leadership to site staff. Typical work schedules during the school year are Monday - Friday, from 6:25AM - 8:30AM, and 3:00PM - 5:45PM.

$14.50 - $16.00/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage groups of school-age children in a safe, caring, and fun environment Plan, implement, and evaluate daily curriculum and activities Ensure program is compliant with YMCA policies and state licensing requirements Manage site logistics, including attendance, snack preparation, behavior guidance, and parent communication Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation Communicate effectively with children, parents, school staff, and YMCA leadership Serve as a positive role model and demonstrate YMCA core values Requirements
Qualifications:
Must meet
DCF 251
Teacher qualifications under Wisconsin state licensing rules for group child care centers Experience working with children ages 5-12 in a group setting Strong understanding of child behavior and group dynamics High energy, creativity, patience, and the ability to lead with confidence Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must demonstrate the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility Must provide a physician-signed health examination and complete a fingerprint background check prior to employment Certifications (Required within 60 days of hire):
CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
