THIS IS A TEMP TO HIRE POSITION JOB SUMMARY:In charge of all phases of the planning and execution process associated with manufacturing and production areas. Planning responsibilities include build plans, execution tracking, entry of MRP requirements, preparation of shop floor paperwork, and shipments meet the scheduled delivery of finished devices.JOB DUTIES: Construct and maintain a 12-month rolling build plan for all finished products and sub-assemblies that are required to meet the corporate budget. Work with the purchasing department to enter and maintain the build requirements and MRP settings for material and production planning purposes. Identify components or actions that may cause delay and act to mitigate risk. Create and open job orders to fill customer orders Monitor status of open job orders and purchase orders and communicate concerns to the Production manager, Production supervisor and Purchasing Manager. Work with internal departments to ensure on time deliveries to our customers Expedite orders. Provide updates to team members on the company selected method. Manage all materials from the receiving point through to stock. Verify stock on hand for new sales orders. Assist production department in other areas as deemed necessary. Perform other duties as assignedSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Good computer skills. Strong math skills. Thorough understanding of complete purchasing and planning processes. Ability to concurrently handle multiple project assignments and ability to lead as well as participate on cross-functional project teams. Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, new product development environment. Knowledge of material planning requirements and ability to execute Knowledge of PC skills (Word, Excel and Access) and manufacturing data systems required. Knowledge of M2M or other similar ERP system preferred. Solve Problems under the Planning/Operational lens. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Ensure the right products and materials are available at the necessary time, price and without discrepancies. Maintain strict quality and budget standards with purchases. Work with other departments to establish and maintain reorder levels for all related products. Ensure all quality aspects of this position. Maintain a safe working environment.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Degree in Business Administration and CPM in purchasing preferred. Minimum of two years previous purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment. Pay Range: $90,000 - $115,000 per year
