FII provides customers with intelligent manufacturing services for new forms of electronic equipment products centered on the Industrial Internet platform.As a FQC you will be mainly responsible for testing materials and finished products to ensure they conform to all applicable laws and company standards. Quality Control Technicians test products across the three stages of production (before, in-process, and final) to ensure quality levels are met. QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED equivalent and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experienceEXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentLANGUAGE: English proficiency is required, Mandarin proficiency is a plus. SKILLS: Great verbal and written communication skillsFamiliarity with electronic and mechanical components related to PCBA contract manufacturingAccuracy for documentationEffectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employeesCommon sense to solve practical problemsKnowledge of ESD, IPC-600/610, workmanship standards and experienceAttention to detail RESPONSIBILITIES:Use basic inspection tool/device, example: magnifying lens, microscope, caliper, and color pantoneMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsInspect materials or assembled parts or products for defects and deviations from specificationsObserve and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustmentsDiscuss inspection results with those responsible for productsDiscard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specificationsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededDevelop and maintain inspection reportsEnsure compliance to federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specificationsMaintain calibration of quality control equipmentPerform inspections across all stages of of productionPrepare and maintain test data for reviewEvaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standardsIdentify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordinglyCommunicate quality or compliance concerns with urgencyFoxconn Assembly, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
