Job Title:
Logistics Warehouse Specialist (contingent)
This position is contingent upon contract award. A secret security clearance is also required.
Job Responsibilities:
• Serves as team member responsible for executing a wide range of property accountability functions IAW Army Regulations, policies, and procedures in a warehouse setting.
• Ensures traceability and asset accountability across a range of activities associated with supply chain management, maintenance, and repair planning.
• Transfers assets throughout the warehouse manually or using material handling equipment.
• Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records, such as material inventory, and status and location of materials.
• Prepares items for delivery, verifies the correct quantity, condition, and if required serial number.
• Ensures an accurate inventory of all items in your functional area.
• Performs Care of Supplies and Storage Inspections (COSIS) and identifies any missing, lost or damaged packaging and/or materials and immediately notifies the section lead.
• Developing and implementing Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) procedures to maintain equipment in a ready to issue state, to include preparing GSE for storage and transportation.
• Responsible for a variety of documents, records, databases, and electronic systems for tracking status of equipment, to include maintenance of a publications library.
• Ensures that all items in storage are properly placed, labeled, and cared for.
• Adhere to the company’s AS9100 policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
• High School Diploma
• 2 years’ experience working in warehouse operations across multiple logistics. disciplines.
