The successful candidate will leverage advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning to drive data-driven decision-making across MFC engineering and production. You will apply advanced statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization methods to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data from engineering development and production sources. You will develop, implement, and advocate for AI-powered solutions. Key responsibilities will include: Data wrangling and curation: extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources, including legacy databases, SAP products, and other enterprise systems. ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process development and optimization: designing and implementing efficient data pipelines to support data analytics and machine learning workflows. Data quality and integrity: ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency, and developing processes to monitor and maintain data quality over time. Data governance: working with stakeholders to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures, including data security, compliance, and privacy regulations. Data storytelling: using data visualization and communication techniques to translate complex data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders and leadership. Why Join Us

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science. Experience in data analysis, including data wrangling, curation, and engineering. Strong understanding of database concepts, including data modeling, database design, and query optimization. Experience with SQL, including complex query writing and optimization. Experience working with legacy databases, including data migration, integration, and optimization. Familiarity with products from SAP, including ERP, CRM, and data analytics tools. Strong programming skill in python. BI tools expertise Data visualization experience SAP Business Objects experience Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and therefore must be US Citizen. Desired Skills

5+ years experience working and leading Data Science based projects. Proficiency with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques. Experience in deployment of AI and statistical algorithm systems on high performance compute infrastructure. Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Pay Rate

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $111,700 - $193,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
