The Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, verifying, and documenting incoming materials and supplies. This position involves working closely with inventory systems, warehouse staff, and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of deliveries. Prior experience in warehouse operations and familiarity with inventory systems are highly preferred.
Main Responsibilities
•Remove packing slips from deliveries, verify information and quantity of items delivered, and enter information into inventory system for tracking and invoicing purposes
•Label received materials with internal tracking labels and prepare them for delivery to warehouse
•Collaborate with Quality personnel to prioritize inspection of urgent material
•Issue and transfer materials between storage locations on SAP.
•Obtain scrap reports and make necessary transactions in inventory system
•Maintain accurate records of packing slips, POs, and receipts
•Work with buyers to resolve instances of incorrect shipping documentation
•Manage defective material rework and tracking
Requirements
•High School diploma, GED or equivalent required
•Associate degree or certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field is a plus
•Experience in warehouse or receiving operations is preferred
•Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP experience a plus)
•Ability to repeatedly lift 50-pound packages
•Ability to maintain accurate records
•Good communication and organizational skills
•Good Math Skills
