If so, we want you to apply for the Agricultural Sales Associate position and help us grow our farm and ranch insurance team.As an Agricultural Sales Associate, you will successfully identify opportunities for new business and cross-sales and develop strategies to retain existing agricultural clients. Our comprehensive mentorship program will help you develop a robust network within the agricultural community, so you can be better equipped to create targeted marketing strategies to build a profitable book of business.Your Responsibilities: Client Engagement: Bring in new business by engaging with agricultural clients through phone conversations, farm visits, and industry events. Network Development: Develop a strong referral network within the farming and ranching community. Sales Management: Manage all the process requirements of new businesses, from quoting to policy issuance. Risk Assessment: Conduct on-site risk assessments of farms, ranches, and agricultural operations. Underwriting: Effectively conduct field underwriting and secure quality agricultural insurance business. Claims Assistance: Assist clients with filing claims related to crop damage, livestock loss, or farm equipment. Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on new agricultural insurance products and initiatives and enhance your knowledge by completing training programs for product specialization. Goal Achievement: Meet production goals set by the Agency Owner.What You Bring to the Table: Strong understanding of farming and ranching operations; agricultural background is a plus. Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex agricultural risks. Proficient in computer systems and software applications, including Microsoft Suite. A humble, coachable attitude with a willingness to learn about specialized agricultural insurance products.
