Property and Casualty Insurance Why consider this job opportunity: Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization Collaborative work environment focused on problem-solving and innovation Chance to work with various departments and stakeholders to enhance business processes Strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer experiences Engaging role that involves tackling complex challenges and implementing effective solutions What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements Translate business needs into functional specifications for systems and processes Create and maintain detailed documentation, including workflows, use cases, and business rules Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring timely solutions and improvements Lead projects and provide regular, actionable status reports to stakeholders What is Required (Qualifications): Bachelors degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience 3+ years as a Business Analyst with a proven ability to resolve complex issues 3+ years in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance industry, preferably with experience in California home insurance or Florida Residential Commercial lines Strong understanding of P&C insurance products, underwriting, claims, and policy lifecycle Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong organizational abilities How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Familiarity with P&C insurance systems like Guidewire, Duck Creek, or similar platforms Experience with tools like SQL, Excel, Visio, Jira, or other project management tools Business Analyst certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus Experience with comparative raters and understanding of XML/SOAP We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
