Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting marketing automation technologies (SFMC) to improve customer experience, reduce customer churn and maximize usage and ROI as required to achieve the company's business objectives and goals. This role will guide technology recommendations to advance marketing automation capabilities and customer experience. The Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Developer will manage the day-to-day technical development of data integrations, scalable Contact Builder attribute groups, SQL-based query automations from file imports or API, strategic data extracts, dynamic emails via Content Builder, Cloud Pages for lead capture, and event-driven journeys via Journey Builder, while also managing the uptime and success of all campaigns and automations. Responsibilities: Expertise in Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio. Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing using WYSIWYG templated email editors. Design, implement, and optimize marketing automation workflows in automation studio with API and FTP imports through data extensions. Create effective journeys in journey builder utilizing cloud pages and data extensions as entry points with multiple decision splits, emails and exit points. Build cloud pages and lead forms to drive new patient acquisition and support paid media efforts. Strong understanding of data management, API integration and batch file upload within SFMC and backend systems. Troubleshoot and provide solutions to technical errors and technology misconfiguration. Proficient in HTML. Understand and evaluate campaign metrics and distribute campaign performance to the marketing team with proven ability to define and act upon data-driven insights. Extensive experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud including development, administration and configuration. Collaborate with IT department to implement API integrations, review and troubleshoot data integrations that drive automation and journey processes. Build analytics reports and dashboards to provide visibility into marketing campaign/email results and measure effectiveness. Assist with creating best practice and training guides to provide guidance and direction to users. Establish roles setup, folder archive, file naming conventions and process clean-up for optimal application usage. Qualifications: BS/BA degree or relevant experience in Information Systems, Marketing, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years' experience building solutions in the SFMC platform preferred, in healthcare a plus. Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification required, additional certifications including Developer preferred. At least 2 years of experience utilizing HTML, CSS, SQL Query, JavaScript, and AMPscript preferred. Proficiency in SFMC Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Cloud Pages, Audience Builder and Cloud Pages development. The ability to communicate with both business and technical teams effectively and rapidly learn technical and business concepts as needed. Extensive knowledge of eCommerce/Digital Marketing technologies required. Outstanding project management skills and the ability to prioritize, multi-task and be a self-starter.
