As a Senior QA Analyst, you will work with Systems Analysts and Development Teams to understand business/product and system requirements. You will create and execute test plans and test cases. You will be responsible for maintaining QA artifacts according to current standards, coordinating test execution, training users, and providing user support. Responsibilities Document, maintain, and execute detailed test cases to validate system functionality, identify and document software defects, and track test case execution status. Create test plans for software releases, detailing testing strategy, resources, scope, dependencies, and risks. Deploy software releases, maintain test environments, and troubleshoot configuration issues. Collaborate with the technology team to build cutting-edge Clearing Systems, including back-end clearing, risk management, delivery, and settlement systems. Test systems with Java and JavaScript architectures, including extJS, JQuery, Oracle APEX, and ReactJS. Gain experience with iterative and Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge and Experience
B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience. At least 5 years of experience in enterprise application testing. 3+ years experience with complex SQL queries. Preferably 2+ years experience in commodity markets, financial trading, or equity brokerage, with exposure to futures markets. Strong background in functional testing, test strategy, and test case development. Experience reviewing business and functional requirements. Participation in full lifecycle development and quality processes. Knowledge of testing methodologies, defect reporting tools, and both White Box and Black Box testing. Excellent communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently under pressure, prioritize, and multitask. Programming skills for automation scripting and database validation are a plus.
