This role will be part of the team modernizing the membership experience, focusing on backend Java development and cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Implement microservices architecture and containerized applications.
Work with caching solutions like Redis or Memcached for off-heap caching.
Participate in CI/CD pipeline creation and deployment automation using tools such as Jenkins.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Troubleshoot and optimize application performance.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development. 6+ years of experience with Java, Groovy, Spring Framework, RESTful web services, SQL, and NoSQL databases. 4+ years working with microservices, REST APIs, and container technologies. 2+ years experience with caching solutions such as Redis or Memcached. 2+ years experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins. 1+ years experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with Groovy scripting. Familiarity with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms.
