Lead Interior Designer

Kevin Klein Design is a boutique interior design studio based in Los Angeles, working on a diverse range of projects including hotels, restaurants, and high-end single-family residences. We are currently seeking a full-time Lead Interior Designer with 5–10 years of professional experience to join our team. This role is focused on delivering exceptional hospitality, commercial, and single-family residential projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate is a highly creative designer with a strong eye for detail and a well-developed design sensibility. They must have a proven track record in hospitality design, be fluent in 3D modeling—particularly in Rhino—and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This is a hands-on design role requiring initiative, follow-through, and confidence across all project phases. Responsibilities Lead the creative direction of projects from concept to installation Project manage schedule and other team members throughout the project Generate compelling design presentations, mood boards, and 3D studies Produce detailed drawings, models, and renderings for client and consultant review and oversee documentation quality Oversee FF&E selection, specification, and documentation Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to execute design vision with precision Qualifications: BArch, MArch, or Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Interior Design 5-10 years of professional experience (hospitality experience required) Proficient with standard hospitality details Excellent drafting skills. Must have Rhino Experience. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe CS. Deep understanding of FF&E, materials, and finishes, especially for hospitality environments This is a full-time position with competitive compensation (90k-130k) commensurate with a candidate's experience and qualifications.
