Corvid's Fuzing & Safety Technology Group is seeking experienced Electronics Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidates will have expertise in hand soldering printed circuit boards (PCBs). Position will use experience interpreting technical drawings and documentations to consistently produce reliable, quality products.The Technicians will also support assembling PCBs, mechanical components, and wiring harnesses in accordance with detailed work instructions. Candidates will work to ensure quality products through testing and inspection activities as well as interaction with engineering team to improve product design and production processes. Position will have the opportunity to impact development of corporate processes and standard operating procedures for electromechanical assembly.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform advanced hand soldering of components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) in accordance with J-STD requirementsDesign, assemble, test, and inspect electronic devices, including mechanical components, PCB assemblies, wiring harnesses, ensuring compliance with J-STD requirementsSupport the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of complex electronic equipment and systemsConduct thorough inspections and testing of electronic components and assemblies to ensure the highest quality standardsMaintain meticulous records of work performed, including updating technical documentation and logsHandle and assemble small explosive components into final electronic packagesTravel up to 10% of the time to customer sites for installations, repairs, and supportQualifications:Candidate must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain (and maintain) a Secret ClearancePosition requires at least a High School Diploma and at least 5 years of experience in hand soldering and electronic assembly, with a focus on high-reliability applicationsCertification in IPC J-STD-001 is requiredDemonstrated expertise in interpreting complex technical drawings and schematicsExceptional manual dexterity, excellent trouble shooting & problem solving, as well as a high level of attention to detail are desired for this positionPreferred candidate will have demonstrated leadership and communication skills, including the ability to facilitate training for technician staffWhy Corvid?Founded in 2004, we are a group of over 300 engineers and scientists, about three-quarters of whom hold master's degrees or PhDs, that provide end-to-end solutions, including concept development, design and optimization, prototype build, test, and manufacture.
