Network Engineer III (Network Technical Manager)

Oversee daily operations of enterprise-level IT systems including networks, servers, virtualized infrastructure, and databases Lead the integration and performance of the Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC) Design and manage operational procedures to ensure the reliability and scalability of IT services Direct complex IT infrastructure and cloud migration projects with cross-functional teams Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices and disaster recovery protocols Ensure compliance with industry regulations, government standards, and security frameworks Collaborate with FEMA stakeholders to align IT operations with strategic goals Provide technical leadership and guidance on continuous improvement initiatives Requirements

8+ years of experience managing enterprise-level IT operations and infrastructure CISSP, CCNP or CCNA, and Professional Cloud Solutions Architect certifications Certification or proven experience in Multi-Cloud Environments (AWS, GCP, OCI, Azure) Experience leading NOC/SOC functions and ensuring operational excellence Strong knowledge of virtualization, enterprise networking, and ITIL-based service delivery Experience managing cloud migrations and hybrid infrastructure at scale Proven ability to manage teams and complex technical projects Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills Must obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance prior to start Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience supporting FEMA or other DHS components Familiarity with federal IT compliance frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53) Experience with DevSecOps or cloud-native automation tools Background in IT infrastructure optimization, disaster recovery planning, and risk assessments Join a mission-driven team advancing national emergency preparedness and response capabilities.
