Sharepoint/Powershell Developer
This is a hybrid position located in Strongsville, OH. CGI is seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Developer with strong expertise in PowerShell scripting to support, develop, and enhance SharePoint-based solutions. This role requires experience in SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server environments and the ability to automate administrative tasks and deployments using PowerShell. Your future duties and responsibilities: Design, develop, and customize SharePoint sites, web parts, workflows, and forms using SharePoint Designer, Power Apps, Power Automate, and custom code (if needed). Write and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate SharePoint provisioning, configuration, migrations, backups, and maintenance. Develop and maintain SharePoint intranet/extranet portals that are scalable, responsive, and user-friendly. Implement security best practices including role-based access controls and integration with Active Directory groups. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver functionality aligned with user needs. Provide support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for SharePoint environments (Online and/or On-Premises). Assist with SharePoint migrations (e.g., 2013/2016/2019 to SharePoint Online). Create and maintain documentation of system architecture, customizations, and processes. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: 6+ years of hands-on experience in SharePoint development. Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting for SharePoint automation and administration. Solid understanding of SharePoint architecture, site collections, content types, libraries, lists, and permissions. Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), REST API, CSOM, or PnP libraries is a plus. Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) is desirable. Experience in branding and customizing SharePoint pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Compensation and benefits: CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $57,100.00 - $154,300.00.
