Dispatcher / Emergency Medical Dispatcher

Promptly answers all incoming emergency and non-emergency calls, collects pertinent information from the caller, determines and assign the level of priority of calls, enters the required information into the Computer Aided Dispatch System.Maintains professional telecommunication contact with facilities, field staff, patients and/or their families, and other agencies to communicate activities of personnel, enlist services of other agencies, or provide alternative directions to on scene personnel.Dispatches appropriate crews to transport patients originating out of various locations.Follow and update the crew's status during transports.Requirements:Excellent leader skills.Dispatch experience is preferred but not required.Positive attitude and outstanding customer service.Dependable and punctualAn understanding of how patients are transported by ambulance/wheelchair van, common issues which arise during transport, and functions of healthcare facilities.Team Player
