Sr. or Operations Applications Analyst II We seek an experienced professional to support and maintain applications and databases critical to SPP’s operations, including the Integrated Marketplace, CBA, Reliability, Tariff, Markets, Scheduling, and Engineering functions. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in one or more technical application areas, ensuring system reliability and security to support our member organizations and services. Key Responsibilities: Provide advanced support for operational systems and applications. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to ensure system stability. Collaborate with teams and vendors to meet project goals. Participate in SDLC from design to deployment. Install, configure, and maintain enterprise applications and data interfaces. Serve as escalation point for complex problems, coordinating with teams. Mentor junior analysts and team members. Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. Support 24/7 operations via on-call rotation. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields or 2+ years of IT experience in lieu of degree. 3 years (Analyst II) or 6 years (Senior) of IT development/support experience. Knowledge of Windows, Unix/Linux, databases, troubleshooting, SDLC, scripting, SQL, log analysis. Preferred Skills: UX design, MVC, WebAPI, MVVM, object-oriented analysis, version control (Git), industry standards, and tools like EMS and Market Systems. This role is based in Little Rock, Arkansas, with a standard workweek of Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with possible extended hours and minimal travel (~10%).
