Receive, review, and transcribe physician's orders.Communicate and act as liaison between staff and the Clinical Manager or Nursing SupervisorActively participates in orientation and training of new team membersResponsible for proper utilization of supplies and equipment by staffCooperate in providing a safe and pleasant environment and maintaining a high level of morale for residents and nursing personnelInitiate disciplinary procedures as needed for staffEstablish and maintain effective interdepartmental working relationships and promotes guest relationsArrange for scheduling of appointments and transportation of residents to other departments or outside appointmentsCoordinate all aspects of admissions, transfers and dischargesMake accurate clinical assessments and observations in emergency medical situationsObserve and evaluate symptoms and conditions of residents and assure that families and physician are updated and physician orders are followedPlan, implement, and see to completion the resident's plan of care.
