Job Type Full-timeDescriptionOVERVIEWCadrex is searching for a Production Coordinator to actively communicate with a variety of departments while juggling priorities associated with identifying and meeting customer needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESReview and follow up with requests from customer service regarding expedites, urgent orders, and WIP statusFollow up with orders in process until completionRun Shortage reports for Purchased items and communicate with Purchasing and Customer ServiceProvide estimated completion dates for orders in processWhen requesting a job from a specific work center, need to make sure all parts and BOM items are being provided, and need to work with Material HandlersReceive raw material into ERP SystemPerform other duties assigned by supervisor or managerReview Bill of Materials of Work Order and identify any potential shortages Review customer schedule for next 3 months plus overdueEnsure master data integrity and accuracy to support production schedulesEnsure master data integrity and accuracy to support production schedulesWork with customer serviced to review new or repeat orders and verify lead times are correctHelp verify inventory and physical countsCreation and closing of production orders RequirementsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSManufacturing experience in metal stamping and injection molding a plusERP and MRP experience requiredBasic math and problem-solving skillsStrong computer skills; proficient in MS Office programsAttention to detail, quality work, self-motivated, working with all team members to meet production goals are essential qualitiesEDUCATIONHighschool diplomaAssociate degree preferredWORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration.
