Job Summary
Responsible for managing mailroom personnel and day-to-day operations to ensure effective service delivery aligned with ServiceSource and client expectations. Provide exceptional customer service and achieve high satisfaction by delivering services professionally, courteously, and promptly. Primary Duties

Manage and supervise personnel, ensuring contract performance requirements for mail functions are met, including Mail Rooms and Mail Containment Facility. Ensure employees have clear objectives and are trained to receive, sort, and deliver mail and freight, prepare shipping documents, and determine carriers and equipment for safe, secure, and timely delivery. Plan and assign work based on difficulty and employee capability; set priorities; prepare schedules; monitor performance; and report on progress. Establish and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational rhythms to meet goals, deadlines, and standards. Assess work performance, develop metrics, perform quality inspections, and find ways to improve productivity and quality. Additional Responsibilities
Serve as the mail and freight subject matter expert; communicate with managers, contractors, and customers; recommend and implement solutions. Evaluate subordinate performance, provide training, and counsel employees on work and administrative matters. Interview candidates, recommend appointments, promotions, or reassignments. Ensure compliance with SSI guidelines and directives. Identify training needs and develop or arrange for training and development. Develop safety and job skills training materials and conduct training sessions. Ensure compliance with security, safety, quality, and COVID-19 protocols. Provide necessary equipment and resources for smooth operations. Address employee grievances, implement minor disciplinary actions, and escalate serious issues. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum three years' experience in postal operations. At least one year of supervisory experience. Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance with polygraph. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficiency in reading, writing, and following instructions. Strong communication skills, including professional phone etiquette. Good interpersonal skills. Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and related software. Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to interpret safety and operational documents. Effective report writing and public speaking skills. Problem-solving skills dealing with practical variables. Proficient typing skills. Physical Demands
Regular talking, hearing, standing, walking, sitting, and manual handling. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, and depth perception, and focus adjustment. Work Environment
