This position is located in Roy, Utah and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What You'll Get To Do: Manage all materials and services for an integrated program team (IPT). Define program outsourcing requirements and manage material-related program objectives (cost, schedule, quality). Manage and communicate material risks and opportunities. Define and develop material strategy. Assess supply resources; aggregate and prioritize demand requirements; plan inventory, distribution requirements, production, material and rough-cut capacity for all products. Participate in make/buy process, long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end-of-life management and product-line management. Analyze and aggregate supply / demand requirements. Analyze purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools. Plan inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements. Assess rough-cut capacity for current and short-term manufacturing requirements. Create/reduce supply requirements based on inventory adjustments. Participate in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phase-ins as well as existing product line phase-outs. Interface with Source process area regarding inventory levels, working capital and other areas as needed. Create/release requisitions. Receive/review requirements for non-standard parts. Analyze lead times and identify critical path procurements. You'll Bring These Qualifications: Supply Chain Planning Specialist: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 2 or more years of supply chain, material planning, or closely related experience; OR a master's degree and 0 years of experience. 4 years of additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 5 or more years of supply chain, material planning, or closely related experience; OR a master's degree and 3 or more years of supply chain, material planning, or closely related experience; OR a PhD with 1 or more years of supply chain, material planning, or closely related experience. 4 years of additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Required for Both Level(s): Must have US Citizenship with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need. Experience with SAP (business system) or similar ERP system. MS Office including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Prior work experience in Aerospace & Defense. Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting. Master's Degree in related field. Salary Range: $63,800.00 - $95,800.00 Salary Range 2: $78,700.00 - $118,100.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
