Video Production Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY:The Videographer will shoot and edit video productions for Southern Seminary.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:The Video Production Coordinator will shoot, edit, and serve as the project coordinator of video productions for Southern Seminary Online including:Serve as the primary point of contact for Course Developers to coordinate video recording needs and communicate project timelineManage the scheduling of part-time videographers to ensure adequate studio coverage and timely project deliveryEdit videos for Southern Seminary OnlineFilm Professors in the Southern Productions studioEDUCATION:The person in this position does not need previous education in video production, although it is preferred. This position does not require specific technical training if the individual possesses the ability to learn to produce quality videos in a timely fashion.EXPERIENCE:The person in this position does not need previous experience in video production, although it is preferred. Must be detail oriented to film, organize, and transfer footage.SUPERVISION:The person in this position will supervise video production in studio and the post-production workflow involved with their projects.The person in this position will report to the Director of Southern Productions.WORK ENVIRONMENT:The person in this position will work in a standard office environment and the Southern Productions StudioEQUIPMENT:The person in this position will use the following equipment: video/audio equipment and post-production equipment.
