The Quality Inspector III performs inspection of aviation accessories according to current technical data in Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, Service Information Letters, Airworthiness Directives, Regulations, and approved Quality procedures. The goal is to ensure product integrity, compliance with all requirements, and that customer specifications are met before completing inspection. Responsibilities

Complete first-run articles with engineering support. Monitor shelf life and segregate expired chemicals appropriately. Verify maintenance and repair tasks are performed correctly per manuals, drawings, and regulations. Ensure traceability and accuracy of documentation for regulatory compliance. Collaborate with production to resolve quality issues in real-time. Conduct thorough inspections of aviation accessories for FAA and industry standards compliance. Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to verify adherence to specifications. Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to detect defects and deviations. Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions as per procedures and regulations. Review technical documents, drawings, and CMMs for accurate inspections. Work with engineering, production, and quality teams to address quality issues. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements

5+ years of inspection or relevant experience, or Associates degree with 2 years of experience. Understanding of unit functionality. Ability to determine product configuration from technical documents and training. Decisiveness in product acceptance. Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. Strong attention to detail and organization skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to challenges. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Dependability and accountability. Positive attitude, resilience, and adaptability. Ability to work collaboratively in a team. Visual acuity for near and distance vision. Proficiency in English reading and writing. Preferred Requirements

6+ years in aviation quality inspection, especially in MRO. Experience with quality management systems. Ability to perform prefinal inspection, prepare release documents, and conduct final releases. Additional Information
