Education/training allowances. Anticipated Salary Range: $165,033.00 - $230,000.00. The salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities. Occasionally positions/roles may include additional non-recurrent compensation and will be addressed by the recruiter during the interview process. Essential Job Responsibilities

Leverage a strong working knowledge and experience to develop Java based software capabilities. Deploy software capabilities within cloud and container-based environments (e.g. AWS, k8s), through a strong working knowledge and experience. Support customer-facing interactions by communicating technical concepts effectively and ensuring solutions align with both current and future initiatives. Utilize and demonstrate an inquisitive nature, responsiveness, and excellent testing skills. Possess and demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines. Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development. Work in a demonstrated fast-paced, small business environment with our talented team. Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment through constructive feedback, and proactive identification of development opportunities. Effectively communicate technical concepts and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including customers, product managers, building strong relationships and ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables. Additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications

Security Clearance - A current Top Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance is required; U.S. Citizenship required. 15+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Spring, Guava) and Bachelors in related field; or 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience. Experience in designing enterprise APIs. Experience in RESTful web services. Experience in Microservices architecture. Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms. Experience with the Agile software lifecycle. Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in a team setting. Experience with the Linux operating system. Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Git, Nexus, Maven). Strong communication skills. Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead teams. Must be able to work on-site 3-4 days per week at the customer site in Fort Meade, MD. Must be able to travel CONUS up to 20% of the time. Preferred Requirements

Experience in distributed databases, NoSQL databases, full text-search engines (e.g. Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Solr). Scripting experience. Prior experience or familiarity with big data technologies. Understanding of and use of standard software development tool suites. (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, YouTrack, etc.).
