StreetLight Data, Inc. is seeking a Lead QA Engineer for the San Francisco, CA office. Responsibilities include ensuring that new releases of the streetlight insight web application are of very high quality. Create and execute test plans for new features, comprising manual and automated test cases. Develop new and maintain existing QA automation test suites. Do bug regression and run sanity tests at the end of a release, as necessary. Work collaboratively with development, product management and sales to make streetlight insight as useful and beneficial to our clients as possible. As a member of the Insight web application QA team, help test all releases to ensure readiness for release and customer use. As part of release testing, review product requirements and technical designs to gain a clear understanding of new/changed product requirements, and create detailed testing strategies and test cases for each assigned feature. Develop new automated tests for assigned new/changed features, participate in adding new automated tests for legacy Insight features, and help maintain existing automated tests as needed to ensure tests are up to date with ongoing product changes. Validate bug fixes in assigned areas, and participate in regression testing for each release to ensure product quality is maintained in legacy features. Help to train engineering and QA resources in the use of our Insight automated testing framework and test suites. Working collaboratively with our product, engineering, support and sales teams, help ensure that Insight is a high quality, performant, and usable application for our customers. Develop and enhance test automation frameworks for UI and API automation, and performance testing. Act as a technical team lead for other QA team members who develop automated tests in UI and API automation. Develop and maintain miscellaneous utilities and test automation tools for new products and initiatives as the need arises. Telecommuting/hybrid schedule is allowed. This position requires a bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, computer information systems, or related field and 8 years of work experience in a QA role at an enterprise SaaS application companies. Specific skills include 3 years experience with QA automation tools, such as Selenium, Protractor, and/or TestCafe. 3 years experience with using SQL/RDBMS. Expertise/knowledge of: Java, Python, JavaScript. Page Object Model. GitHub, Jenkins, React, REST API. Mapbox API, Postgres Database. QA automation framework development. Performance testing. QA methodologies. Agile software development standards and practices. Pytest framework. FE automation, backend automation. The base salary range for this position is $160,139.00 to $286,075.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
