Description
Black Diamond Equipment is looking to hire a flexible part-time retail sales associates at our Jackson, WY location.Benefits include flexible hours, relaxed dress code, deep discounts on apparel, equipment, and more! As this is a retail position, you must be willing to work holidays and weekends. The Retail Associate's primary responsibility is to maintain a positive and interactive customer experience by providing exceptional guest service as part of a cohesive team. This includes in-depth, practical product knowledge of climbing, skiing and mountaineering; the ability to communicate that knowledge in a fun and educational manner, and a passion for helping customers realize their full potential in the mountains. The ideal candidate will represent Black Diamond with pride, productivity and professionalism while adhering to policies and remaining accountable at all times, working diligently to maintain the operational and merchandising standards of the company.

Accurate entry of merchandise, payments and customer details in the Point of Sale (POS) system. Resolve issues involving customer relations and satisfaction. Maintain store's clean, organized appearance. Perform other duties as assigned. Restocking and managing back stock including lifting boxes of gear.

Requirements
Education:
Required: High School Diploma Work Experience:
Required: Previous retail or customer service experience. Preferred: 1 year retail sales in an outdoor specialty store. Knowledge of Black Diamond Equipment gear and apparel is a plus. Skills and general experience:
Excellent customer relation skills, knowledge of POS systems, typing, merchandising, product knowledge, self-motivated, knowledge of and/or participation in climbing, back-country skiing and mountaineering.
