This is a hybrid role that can be based in either Harrisburg, PA.

Please note, candidates must be located within 60 miles of The Harrisburg Office.

The Cash Application Analyst will assume responsibility for various cash application functions to ensure all daily cash receipts are applied to customer accounts in an accurate and timely manner.

Responsibilities

Prepare and process electronic cash application files. Prepare and key enter manual cash application transactions as necessary. Reconcile customer payments with detail account balances as necessary to resolve discrepancies. Analyze customer import files to determine reasons for failed imports into A/R system. Communicate effectively with other D&H departments, primarily Credit department reps for various customer accounts. Research miscellaneous payments / checks received to determine the appropriate department / account. Prepare daily A/R-Cash Collection Summary report for distribution to D&H management. Process miscellaneous checks for customer refunds. Temporarily assume duties of co-workers when out of office. ADDITIONAL DUTIES

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Detail oriented with ability to organize and prioritize various tasks. Strong MS Excel skills and ability to adapt to various computerized accounting systems. Maintain a high degree of confidentiality Ability to process transactions with accuracy, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment Exhibits sound judgment and problem-solving abilities EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum of high school diploma required. Associate's degree in business related field is a plus/ 2-4 years' related experience in a professional environment is preferred.
